About me

I began my yoga journey as a child, inspired by my mother who is a yoga teacher. Even during my teenage years, I was deeply fascinated by the human body and its incredible potential for creative expression. This led me to join the National Circus School in my hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I focused on acrobatics, trapeze, ropes, and professional theater. Alongside circus arts, I explored various forms of dance, including modern, jazz, ballet, belly dance, and salsa.

As I pursued my academic path, the stress and demands of my studies started to weigh on me. Seeking solace and release, I returned to yoga classes, reigniting my passion for this ancient practice. However, in 2011, my life took an unexpected turn when I experienced a nearly fatal accident. The accident left me with severe pain and forced me to confront immense physical and emotional challenges. Determined to find a solution, I turned to yoga and meditation as a means of healing and recovery.

Through dedicated practice, incorporating asanas and meditation into my daily routine, I experienced a profound transformation. Not only did yoga alleviate my chronic pain, but it also became a catalyst for healing and growth in all aspects of my life. The journey taught me the incredible resilience of the human spirit and the power of yoga to restore balance and strength, both physically and mentally.

I hope that my story serves as inspiration for those facing similar challenges. I encourage everyone to explore the incredible healing potential of yoga and meditation, tap into their own inner strength, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and holistic well-being.

Yoga remains an integral part of my life and my deepest passion. I share my story to inspire others to tap into their inner strength, overcome adversity, and discover their own potential for growth and healing. My journey stands as a testament to the transformative power of yoga and the profound impact it can have on our lives.

trainings & Self-practice

I have been attending yoga classes for the past 20 years, and for the last 7 years, I have maintained a regular self-practice. Throughout my yoga journey, I have had the privilege of traveling the world to both learn and teach yoga. These experiences have challenged my worldviews, imparted valuable lessons, and allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of myself and others.

In 2015, I embarked on my first 200-hour yoga teacher training (TTC) in Ashtanga Yoga, led by the esteemed Lorraine Taylor, in Thailand. Upon completing the TTC, I returned to my home country of Brazil, where I shared my knowledge and taught yoga at a local studio.

Seeking further growth and spiritual deepening, I journeyed back to India, the birthplace of yoga.

During an enriching year-long journey in India and Sri Lanka, I immersed myself in intensive training, attended yoga and meditation retreats, and participated in conferences. I completed an additional 500-hour Hatha TTC, expanding my expertise. I had the opportunity to teach yoga, pranayama, and meditation at various TTC schools. My journey continued as I ventured to Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines, where I continued to learn and teach yoga, collaborating with esteemed local studios such as Yoga Heights, Bluebird Sky Yoga, Yoga Noma, and Yoga Del Sol.

After spending five fulfilling years residing in Washington, D.C., in the United States, I decided to return to Rishikesh, India, to delve deeper into my understanding of yoga therapy. There, I completed an additional 300-hour TTC in Yoga Therapy, equipping myself with comprehensive knowledge to support others on their healing journeys.

These diverse experiences and extensive training have shaped me as a yogi and a teacher. They have allowed me to cultivate a holistic approach to yoga, integrating physical postures, breathwork, meditation, and yoga therapy techniques. My intention is to guide and empower others in their own yoga journeys, helping them discover the transformative potential within.

Through my personal and professional exploration of yoga, I continue to grow, learn, and evolve. Each encounter, whether it be with fellow practitioners, esteemed teachers, or different cultures, contributes to my ongoing journey of self-discovery and service. I am honored to share the wisdom and teachings of yoga, knowing that it has the power to touch and transform lives.
